Day 21!

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!

We are 21 days into the challenge. I'm finally back in the saddle and feeling motivated. I just started a new weight training program with my trainer on Tuesday. But to keep things interesting and because my form is still a bit iffy my trainer asked that I focus on my cardio and bodyweight exercises until we meet again on the 30th.

So what are your goals for the week!? Here are some of mine....

~ Get in at least 3 walks with Libby (my puppy) this week.
~ Get to the gym at least 3 times this week.
~ Try out the workouts that my trainer emailed me.
~ Try 1 new recipe.
~ Work hard on upping my water intake.
~ Try running outside.

    Day 21 of 90

    Focus T25 Week 3 Day 7

    Today: Stretch DVD ( Will do this after I finish studying and homework , lord knows I will need it bc my body already feels all cramped up from sitting here for the past hour, and I got a few more to go )

    Today I cleaned the house til about noon, and Now I am doing homework and studying and will be doing that most of the day :(

    I haven's lost much weight this week, even with all of the extra water and tryin to watch sodium....I will take a break here shortly to take my measurements , I sure hope there is more loss!

    Hi! I'm still resting from having my surgery on Friday, but am drinking a lot of water and watching my diet. I did order the Focus T25 Gamma workout and will be picking up with that as soon as it arrives and I can workout again which should be in a few days. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I have homework today so I will be doing that this afternoon. I got a late start today due to over sleeping, but I guess my body needed it. I look forward to everyone's post this week. :smile:

  • 30 minute weight training this morning and 30 minutes of cardio.
    Cleaning and laundry done and since it is pouring down rain I will
    just be spending the rest of the day in.

    Hello Everyone,

    My apologies for not being active in the group. I use the mfp mobile app and rarely log in on the website. I will start checking in on a weekly basis.

    I'm up 1lb since we started the challenge. However, I have been exercising and my eating habits are improving. Some progress is better than no progress, right? :smile:

    What has helped me is choosing 3 goals a week and updating my progress daily on my newsfeed.

    Hoping for a quick heal Lisa! I am super pleased with my loss this week (weight AND inches) and motivated to keep on moving in the right direction. This week will be the first full week with no Shred DVD (or any DVD for that matter) and just my walking (at a lower speed for now), but I'm hopeful that the following week, when I meet with the Ortho that he gives me the go ahead to move forward. I guess we'll see what the MRI says!

    Hello, I just joined the group today. I just found out about it. I hope that I will reach my ultimate goal and be "Hot for the Holidays". Great title by the way! :smile: Usually I gain weight during the holidays, and I use to allow myself to do that every year. I would gain weight then New Year's would come around and I would make that "New Year's Resolution" to lose weight again. That was my life for years, like a giant roller coaster. But no more I am hoping to reach my goal and stay that way. I will be back on track with my eating tomorrow, but I have been back to exercising the last few days. So here it goes.

    Hello all! I just finished my Shred DVD (after putting it off most of the day), so I'm glad I didn't flake out of it. I have some arm work to do to finish up for today. One more week of the 30 day shred then I will be very happy to move on to my next home workout challenge. I've pretty much had enough of Jillian for now. :)
