2014 goals

I know it's only September, but it'll be Jan 1st before we know it. Let's throw out some goals for 2014.
Be it definite in the books goals, mulling it around in my head goals, or even a someday goal.

    Well, I have a goal to be able to run 10k be EOY, and run in actual 10K by next spring... Then start training for a half...

    I'd like to get a road bike in 2014, and start riding fast and long... ;) (no definite goals there though)

    I want to get my BMI down into the "normal" range... I've been teetering on the edge of overweight/obese for awhile now, and want to finally get it down to "overweight" be EOY, then hit "normal" in the first half of next year.

    Keep logging and exercising through the holidays (I usually quit and then start back up after.).
    Improve my vertical and technique in volleyball.
    Keep lifting heavier, and be able to complete 1 pull up
    Try and burn atleast 4000 calories a week (I'm sure there will be bad weeks, but so far I have burned over 5000 cals in the past 2 weeks!)

    We can do it!
  • For 2014 my goals are:

    - to run the Mini Marathon

    -complete at least one sprint triathlon

    -complete an olympic distance triathlon

    -participate in more road biking events

    -if I can get enough gals interested..run a ragnar relay

    2014 goals for me:

    - Sprint tri (really need to pick up the swimming)

    - Bourbon Tour Bike ride

    - Tough Mudder

    not to forget where I came from, continue to move, and have fun!
