Right Handed question here

Hey I'm new here so not sure if this question is out there but i'll ask anyways. I'm right-handed but I fight with a southpaw stance. Is this bad, good, or what? I have barely joined kickboxing but I've always fought this way so I thought I could attempt to get anybodies opinion on it :)

psst my first post too so please be nice

I have a similar situation. I am right-handed and fight in a right-handed stance, but I hit waaay harder with my left due to a neurological disorder. So I tend to favor using my left hand. I think it is great, makes you more ambidextrous and more versatile.

I am the same way. It is much more natural for me to fight southpaw. My aim is better and my hits are stronger.

the only issue is that your power punch will be coming from your weaker side, and your stronger side will be delivering the quick jab.

personally, i have always tried to do all my drills on both sides and pick the stance best suited to the situation.
