I'm coming back to myfitnesspal. I could use a good strong support system on here. I am a nurse who works 12 hour shifts. Diagnosed this past year with Type 2 Diabetes. I am on 2000 mg Metformin daily and Bydureon injections once a week. Any help, advice, and friendship is welcome:)

Welcome back. This is a good group.
The first step is mentally preparing yourself for a lifestyle change. Once you've made that commitment the other details (diabetes education, diet, exercise and BGL monitoring) are easier to manage.0 -
Welcome and you'll find a lot of good and supportive people here. As already stated, coming here will help you with your commitment to improving food choices, work toward a good exercise program, and get the diabetes under better control. Just coming back is a good step for you so let us know how we can help. We're here to support each other as we all work toward a common goal.0

Welcome back to MFP and to this group. This is a bunch of great people. If you need answers, or just to let frustration out dealing with diabetes this is a great area for that support you need.
I have an open food diary, but will send you a friend request too. A good site to get info on diabetes is www.bloodsugar101.com.0 -
Hello and welcome!
Your first step was the best one - coming back here!
Friend me if you wish.
