Why can't I have a butt like that? haha! I know that will never happen, I will just be happy with what I was given.
Had a great run yesterday, legs felt strong, unlike my last few runs. I think the strength workouts are doing their thing. Can't wait to go tonight, I missed Sunday nights class (was a rest day).
My boys came home for the weekend so that was a treat. I has really only been 3 weeks, but it was good to see them. I magaged to hold it together with food as well, I did cook a few of their favorite things.
Going to make this a good day...food wise and exercise wise!0 -
Good morning from my neck of the world...
Up early and still in recovery week so I decided to do this circuit training (Jillian Michael 30 Day Shred Level 2)...Polar FT4 results: 27:58 mins, 221 cals, 136 avg hr, 159 max hr. Tough circuit but left me feeling like I DID something good!
Maureen, your run on yesterday does sound great and enjoy your strength class tonight. You know that type of fitness is my first love...lol. Awww....so glad your young men visited over the weekend. I enjoyed visiting with my grand boys. Nothing beats having a sweet time with family.
Time to go check on the pup outdoors and move forward with the rest of the day. Have a terrific Tuesday DWOPs!0 -
Pamela well done!
Maureen enjoy the visit.
Yes, Sherry I did notice I have more energy as per today's saying. Love it!
Enjoy your workout week everyone.0 -
Hey all.
It is so nice to come here and read about y'all's workouts. OH, sounds so rewarding! I so wish I could've gotten a good workout today and gotten that feel-good feeling. But it wasn't meant to be. I had a long meeting today regarding a child neurodevelopmental program, to which I unexpectedly had to take my little girl (who was overly engaging allllll day today). TOM showed up a week early and caught me off guard during the meeting (sorry tmi). DH vented about his epic bad day to me. With headaches and aching backs, DH & I decided to call it a day, skip son's taekwon-do, and order chinese takeout (but I DID at least order from the menu that prints calories next to each dish) .
I did the usual amount of walking & tot-carrying between school & son's lesson & my meeting, so I wasn't a complete slug. I'm just hoping TOM will be good to me so I can get back to running, as that was feeling really good lately. So thankful that every day's a new day, if you know what I mean.
Nice to hear from all you parents visiting with grown kids. It's hard for me to imagine what it will be like when my kids are grown. They can be little monsters at times, but I want them to stay little for as long as possible, even as I take measures to try to give them the most that I possibly can give to help them become successful and HAPPY adults.
Have a great day. Until tomorrow!0
