Heart Rate Monitor

I just received my heart rate monitor a few days ago. I'm usually really good at reading and following instructions, but for some reason I find that the ones that came with it are like reading Latin for me. Would anyone be able to help me set it up?

    Okay, my husband was able to set it up for me, but when I tried it, it kept continuously beeping. I contacted tech support, but they haven't gotten back to me. Has anyone had this problem?

    Mine was really easy to set up. Not sure I would be much help. I am using a Polar F6 - older model that I've had for a few years.
