I'm new to the group! So I missed last week. But I'll post it anyway

I lost 1.6 pounds this week! I was super encouraged! I worked out 4 out of the 7 days and was good on my meals. (Except when I went to Applebee's for half priced appetizers)
This week I struggled with feeling defeated, because my UGW is 130 and I'm still 68 pounds away from that, but my best friend helped me to realized that my highest weight was 208 and I've lost many "yellow globs" of fat already!! So the quote that shirlinap posted ("THE NUMBER ONE REASON PEOPLE GIVE UP SO FAST IS BECAUSE THEY TEND TO LOOK AT HOW FAR THEY STILL HAVE TO GO, INSTEAD OF HOW FAR THEYVE GOTTEN") is absolutely true!
Keep fighting everyone!! And even if it is .1 a pound lost, it is .1 closer to the body you've always wanted and a yellow glob of fat gone!!!

SO FRUSTRATING- I did a lot more exercising than I normally do. I did increase my calories and TOM paid a visit mid week, so patience. When I weighed in last time it was technically 160.8 and today 160.0. My ticker said 1 lbs .. must round up? This happened for my first weigh in. Sorry I did not put the .8 in my original post, going to start putting the precise number with or without the .0.0 -

Everyone is doing great!! This is awesome. Keep it up and share your approach! Instead of just counting calories, I've been making sure they're clean foods. I've gotten really into blender soups lately, so on Sundays I make a broth and heat up a bunch of veggies, them puree it in the blender. Easy and quick way to get veggies in for lunches all week, and not many calories! The scale yesterday said I lost 4! Woo!

I'm still 160 so no change for me I think I'm even gaining weight due to lost considering its almost that time0
