TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1st

Hello!
Great to read about everyone's stories last week - and I'm looking forward to it again this week.

I'm holding steady at 231 - my goal for next week is 229. I'm not feeling bad as last week I changed jobs - so I chose not to try to lose weight as it had the potential to be disheartening. I'm just glad not to have gained.

I plan on working out at least three times this week for an hour - with an additional two 30 minute workouts.

I plan on logging my food (which I've never been good at doing) which will hopefully make me more mindful of what I'm eating.

What are your goals for this week?

No change for me, still 218. It's frustrating, but with my hypothyroidism, my key to weight loss has always been exercise. I'm not one of those people who can just cut their calories and sit around and do nothing and still lose weight. Thankfully I'm healthy now and able to get back to exercising. Tonight will be my first night back in the gym since August so hopefully I'll have a loss to report next Tuesday.

The first half of the week was great, my training is going really well and I've been putting in some really good training runs. It all started to go down hill at the weekend though three weeks of being surrounded by snot ridden, sneezing in your face, germ breeders (otherwise known as my students!) has finally caught up with me.....I'm so sick, I think I've got man flu! The result of which being I've either been at work or in bed. Just hoping that by resting its cleared by the weekend as I have a 10km race on Sunday and I was really hoping to go for a personal best at it.

Istarr I now feel your pain, its only been four days of not training and I'm itching to get back to it! Hope you enjoyed your first night back in the gym.

No change for me. I've had some.... digestive issues. Anyway I had a really good day yesterday and hope I can report a loss next week! I've only lost 7 lbs since July and I'm hopeful that I can get at it hard like I did when I started in March.
