I am soooo disappointed. I'm discouraged. The scale had started at 149 and I had gone up-down-up-down and then to 141 - as you can imagine, I was SOOO excited...I'd been diligently working at it. So... within a span of 4 days, the scale returned to 149 something...and then to 147...where it has settled. Why why why? Just because I didn't walk for a week? Ladies, does your weight vary by 8-10 pounds just in WATER weight??? I've been trying to lose 15 pounds now for 2 years... it's like nothing really works.... I guess I have to starve myself. hmph. If I gain weight by not walking and maintaining the 1200 calorie recommendation, then ??? I'm angry and sad and mad and don't know what to do.

That much water weight??? Sorry for repetitious ranting...:explode:

    Scales drive you nuts!
How about your body shape, size is it changing?
I measure myself once a month and often find the inches are shifting when the weight doesn't. (still don't understand that!)
Weigh yourself once a week on the same day, okay so that's near impossible, try for a month see if that looks better.
1200 is too low for me at 5' 7".
    Rant away.
