Today I hit all the heart rate categories. I started with TUFFer Phase 1 Strength, then treadmill walking alternating with squats on one leg on a bench and finishing with stretching.

I had cardio & a trainer session after work last night (shoulders/low back), and then cardio & a trainer session before work this morning (legs/obliques), so I got 2 great workouts in an 11 hour stretch. Today would typically be my rest day but my trainer had a conflict Wednesday night so we bumped to this morning.0

Donna, what exactly were those squats w/one leg on bench? I would love to be able to do pistol squats (one legged squats) some day and would love to know of any variations that might help eventually reach that goal. Another great workout, just in time for the weekend!

I had a bum day. I did manage to walk downtown with my lil girl, and back, but in the afternoon, I had an appt w/my son that ran long and then had no time for his lessons & therefore my run/walk. I'm not too terribly sore from last night's workout, but I'm feelin' it. I also feel bruised on my shoulders from resting the dumbbells up there. I think I'll need to adjust the dumbbells and set-up the barbell this weekend. It got CHILLY here the past two days (especially today) and I LOVE it (for now). Perhaps the weekend will hold an opportunity for a run, to make-up for today.
