    Hi everyone

So sorry that I have not been posting here. I guess I have just been pre-occupied and a bit busy. However, I am still exercising and doing "my thing" lolol

Loving that I have returned to my strength classes, feel it in my legs and arms for sure. Basically, I go to strength class Sun/Tues/Thurs and run on the alternating days. Taking a rest day whenever it happens. lol This week it will be Thursday when I have to go and pick up my son from University for the long Thanksgiving weekend. Can't wait!

Today is dumping rain, dark and dreary. Thankfully it is Tuesday, and strength day....so I don't have to run on the treadmill. I did my first treadmill run of the season yesterday. It wasn't too bad, put a few good inclines in there. Hey...maybe that is why I am feeling my legs today, never thought of it.

Anyway, have to take my cat to the vet today....he's been seeming a little down lately, hope nothings too wrong.

Have a good day everyone :)

Maureen that sounds like a good combo: strength & running. Enjoy Thanksgiving with your son. I hope your cat is ok. I have 3 cats along with 2 dogs so I know it can be hard when they are not well.

Today I did Ab exercises, then Les Mills Combat: Power Kata followed by Stretch. I'm glad I can turn on the subtitles on the DVD and have no sound as I didn't feel like noise this morning.

I too am looking forward to Thanksgiving this weekend as DH doesn't have to work so I will be able to spend time with him. I hope everyone's workout week is going well.

Thanksgiving ? Are you in Canada?

Sorry about kitty, my husband who got home before me had kitty scare where one of our indoor kitties got out, of course the skiddish one and he was up most of the night. At 5:30 in the morning she howled for him but wouldn't come in..so he left door open she finally came in.

Later in the day she walked up to him begging to be peted like it never happened! Lol

I did short walk but manual labor for exercise today, filled up 4 extra large garbage bins with leaves. There was wind storm here last week and driveway, back patio and front walk way were filled.

I am sitting under unbrella now with bowl of grapes, another warm sunny california day.

Good evening from my neck of the world ladies! Performed a 45 minute outdoor walk early this morning....cardio day.

Hi Maureen! You have the perfect fitness mix....running and strength training. Hope your kitty is okay after the vet visit. Enjoy the upcoming holiday weekend, too.

Donna, I feel ya on muting the sound on some fitness dvds...lol. You had a very good workout mix...well done. Enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend with DH.

Marla, that's a lot of leaf raking...working those arms, core, and legs...heehee.

    Have a great evening everyone!

Hey all. Havent had a chance to read ya yet. It's 2am, and I just now am finishing my very busy day. Did lots of walking, with errand-running and "fake school" with lil girl to a local kids museum, then son to the tutor, walkking & a little running (only ~17min). Did some exercises with my son that require use of my upper body strenght (not a whole lot, but I feel it). Just now finished TUFF Upper Body 1, which gave my upper body a day and a half of rest between workouts. Will need to do lower body tomorrow, to get fully caught up. Starting to worry that all my various obligations are not sustainable (don't even get me started on how dirty my house is right now...but where's the time for cleaning?!). I have faith there will be an answer that will allow me to fulfill all my obligations and my "me time"--I'll be standing by for the right solution. :ohwell:

Keep on keepin' on, til tomorrow!

Some great workouts on here today -- filling cans with leaves sounds exhausting!

I ran 2 miles before work (on the treadmill, which I'm still trying to figure out how to not hate), went for a good walk at lunch (it was beautiful outside), then had Zumba after work. Fitbit is over 21,600 steps today. Usually I run on strength days but my schedule got thrown off so today was a lot of cardio.

I've got 2 kitties of my own. I clearly haven't been home enough lately because they're both clingy tonight.
