After failing to weigh in last week I made sure to do it this week! Down 3.2 pounds from 2 weeks ago, so I'm on pace with my 1.5-per-week loss goal.

It was a great week for my workouts. Shorter runs this week (it's a recovery week on the program I'm doing), but my trainer pushed harder at the gym.

If there is anyone in this group that I'm not already friends with on MFP, please send me a FR if you're interested. It's great to see everyone's progress/updates during the week.

Down again by 2.4 pounds. Now, 152.6!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm even moving into a size 8 soon.
The size 10 pants I just got are almost hanging on me.
Lots of people at work are coming up to me for the first time asking if I lost some weight. When I tell them 42.5 pounds, their jaws drop! Did I really need to lose that much before people noticed? I'm not sure. Or maybe they were uneasy about approaching me.

I've needed lots of yoga and meditation this week.
In the process of looking for that elusive hernia which the CT scan says doesn't exist (but my body shows otherwise), they found a complex cyst on my ovary. My CA125 test came back fine. Now I'm waiting for the OVA 1 test to come back. Either way, the gyne wants those ovaries out. Please keep me in your thoughts for the results of the OVA 1 test. We want the number to be under 5. If that's the case, the probablility of malignancy reduces and they might be able to do this laprascopically. If the number is 5 or over, I'm in for a long haul.

After a good breakfast, I am heading to the gym and blasting my IPod (not blasting too much though - I'm an audiologist and I know the dangers of noise exposure). Haha.

    Have a great week everyone.

    Cindy,

First, sending healing thoughts & prayers your way. Hoping for good news from the doctors!

Second, congratulations on another 2.4 pounds lost. You obviously found the formula of eating & exercise that works for you, because you are just killing it. What's your final weight goal?

    Hi Everyone,
    1) Laura - great job on your 60 pounds!

    2) CindyLu - You're in my prayers. Hopefully, it's NOT ovarian cancer. But thank goodness you had it looked at and are having the ovaries out. Better safe than sorry. And great job on the weight loss.

    3) This week, my weight is down 2 pounds - so that's on track. However, my goal from last week was to go the gym and I have only gone once in 2 weeks. So the weight loss is likely due to muscle loss. (Still somewhat encouraging - even if it's an illusion).
