    Good Day!

    We are expecting a cool down finally with temps to hang in the 70s...better than those 80s-90s. It is perfect outdoor walking temps which is on my agenda tomorrow morning. This morning was TUFFer Phase 1 Strength. Wishing each of you a wonderful Wednesday as you get healthy & fit!

    Today was TUFFer Phase 1 and then Treadmill walking & the Foam Roller.

    Pamela, good for you getting in the Turkish Get-up and Windmill as part of TUFFer as per your logs at JeFit.

    Sherry part of being on MFP keeps one moving ahead in their fitness program. We all want to be able to post something each day. So there is the discipline.

    Today is a sweet, sweet rest day (well, half). My son & I have been burning it at both ends (plus it's raining today--yuck!), so we skipped the tutor and all that walking. I did take lil girl out for a walk and shopping this morning (in the rain), and I made the school pick-up, and got down in the floor to help my son with his special exercises...but no running and no excessive walking today (got seriously chaffed yesterday anyway, soo.....um, yeah). AND DH has to go out so he'll be doing the taekwon-do drop-off. Woohoo! I'll be nice and rested in time for TUFF Lower Body 1 tonight!


    Discipline is something I've come to appreciate and it is a word that really represents my..."goal lifestyle", I guess you'd say. I haven't always been a very disciplined person in certain aspects in my life (I was in academics and in work...but not in fitness or personal ambitions). I feel that I'm slowly changing that.

    I love today's motto!

    The sun came out for the first time in days so I got out for a good walk with a friend at lunch, ran 2.85 miles after work, drove to the gym, did 15 minutes on the treadmill to warm up (again), then spent 40 minutes with my trainer. Great workout.
