Day 1: Fit Test Results

Hi everyone! I am officially starting the Insanity program today. I told everyone at the gym not to miss me and not to think that I turned into a couch potato. I have already lost 60 pounds over the course of the last couple of years and now am trying to finish what I started and feel confident naked (this is the ultimate vanity goal of course). Without further ado, here are the results of my first fit test!

~1. Switch kicks - 90
~2. Power Jacks - 40
~3. Power Knees - 70
~4. Power Jumps - 30
~5. Globe Jumps - 27 (6.75 "globes")
~6. Suicide Jumps - 11
~7. Push-up Jacks - 12
~8. Low Plank Oblique - 43

As expected, I struggle the most with feats that require upper body strength, especially burpees and push-ups. I'm excited to see these figures improve however. I would say I'm already in better shape than 90% of the general population, but I want to push it to the next level. Feel free to add me as a friend. I can always use the support!

    ..wow..kicking butt. I almost fainted and threw up on my 1st fit test..I must be in the 90%..lol

    I just did my 2nd Fitness Test - results below:

    1st 2nd
    Switch kicks 88 98
    Power Jacks 36 43
    Power Knees 84 100
    Power Jumps 21 27
    Globe Jumps 9 10
    Suicide Jumps 13 15
    Push-up Jacks 20 (no press up) 11 (with press up)
    Low Plank Oblique 32 40

    I could only do the legs on Push-ups Jacks on the 1st go. Rather chuffed with myself for being able to do 11 proper ones on the 2nd go! :oD

    Well i found it difficult but was surprised at how many of the exercises i managed to do:

    1. Switch Kicks = 60
    2. Power Squat = 40
    3. Power Knee = 60
    4. Power Jumps = 20
    5. Globe Jump = 7
    6. Burpee/Suicide Jump = 6
    7. Push Up Jacks = 20
    8. Low Plank Oblique = 26

    I know i can do better and I will get better with time. Bring on day 2
  • Day 1 today. Fitness test was hell, felt sick and like I was guna pass out.
    Switch kicks - 110

    Power knees - 60

    Also day 1 of the nutrician plan.

    ha-ha! Glad I'm not the only one who felt this way after the 1st fitness test. ;)

    It'll be kicks, unless they did 180 kicks in a minute (3 times a second is ridiculous :) )
