My week was full of stress, extra work, almost no exercise, and extra eating. Hence, I the scale showed the consequences: 1.8 up from last week.

I consider this a glitch in the plan and am starting to move back into my good routine.
My new exercise videos came in the mail yesterday. I plan on trying them out today.
I need to get more and better food in the house so I can make good choices on those crazy days when I have to run out the door.

MY NSV was getting back an ovarian cancer test with a normal result. I can certainly live with that. I'm almost decompressed from that mess.

I'm so happy about your negative test results! So are you physically feeling any better?

My week was kind of messed up. I'm seeing a trend the past month or so where my weight is lower Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday then bumps up Friday through Monday. I'm more intrigued by that than anything, especially why my weight jumps up from Thursday to Friday. I see my trainer on Thursday nights so it's not like it's my beer & pizza night or anything like that. As of my trainer weigh-in on Wednesday night I was down 0.4 pounds for the week, but as of this morning I'm up 1.4 pounds from last Friday. Go figure.

I'm traveling next week - conference for work Monday through Thursday, then home Friday & Saturday, then to Fargo Sunday & Monday to visit a friend (we're going to the Pink concert!) so my goal from today to next Friday is just try to maintain.

Well this week was really messed up for me as well. On Wednesday, I had a weigh in and I was so frustrated as I put on 2 lbs. my boyfriend reassured me that it's probably water retention and he was right coz I weigh in again today and I'm back to 115 lbs. I think it was because there was too much salt in my meals so I must keep an eye out now.

Btw I'm really happy for you, cindylu1962 that your test came out positive. Stay strong :) x

Thanks so much. It was weighing heavily on me. Now I'm getting back in the groove. Heading off to the gym.
By the way, my new 10 minute solution: high intensity interval training workout is a killer! I am still sore from Friday and I only got through 30 minutes of the work out. I'm in need of doing more of this hiit training after I can move again. Haha!

Hi Everyone - Can't remember if I weighed in on Friday. Today's weight is 172.6.
Percent body fat doesn't seem to be dropping the way the weight has... Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I have. After an initial drop of 3 % body fat, my scale hovers around 39.5 %. My water content has increased. My bone mass is about the same, so go figure. I look like I've lost more body fat than the scale is displaying. I am not going to worry about it for now. I'm doing all the right things to get healthy.

BTW, today I am 1.4 pounds away from my original scale goal!!!!! This is the lowest I've been since..... I don't remember.
I think my next goal weight will be 15-20 pounds down from there. If I keep up the fitness, water, attitude, etc. I might get there eventually. I read that people are more successful when they plan grand goals rather than little ones. This would be grand!

Congrats on your successes. Very, Very happy for you.
