Hi all been in and out lately, went to Seattle for 3 days for our anniversary.
A girlfriend and I did a two hour mini hike today. It was cool out but felt great.0 -
Maria that hike sounds great.
Today was the first day of TUFFer Phase 2 strength, then on to Treadmill walking.
Have a good workout week this last week of October.0 -

Happy Monday everybody! Hope this is the start of a great week.
I went for a 2 mile trail run this morning - my first trail run that's pretty much all hills. I've been afraid of running there, and have the day off today, so I pulled up my big girl shorts and tackled it. Felt awesome. It was 28 degrees with a cold wind, which was great incentive to start running once I got there!
I've also got a trainer session in a couple of hours.0 -

You TUFF girls starting TUFFer phase 2 remind me that before I start original TUFF phase 2, I need to get to the bodybuilding store for some more plates, to make weight increases simpler (don't want to be doing musical chairs with the plates between the dumbbells and barbell). Will have to take care of that in the next week or so.
Laura, sounds like a great run. Good for you for taking the plunge.
Last day of holiday weekend here. Still coughing, but feeling loads better (setting the clock back helped with an extra hour of sleep too!). Will rest up and tomorrow back to the routine. Won't get to run tomorrow, as DH has appt after work, so I'll be stuck with the lil girl, but not sure my cough is well enough yet anyway. Readya later!0
