Have been doing paleo a few months but have not lost any weight which was my goal. I do feel good but I didn't really have any problems to begin with. I am interested in finding out more about ketosis but when I google it what I find is scary (liver damage, organ failure etc.). Other then keeping carbs really low is there a science to it? Do I need to test myself? Is there a good resource someone can point me to? Maybe a nice lady from the Artic wants to share her "secrets"? Thanks in advance. Also, if I don't have that much weight to lose (15 lbs) will I ever be able to go back to regular aka not low carb paleo for maintenance? I do not want to mess up my metabolism anymore then it already is.

If you're healthy, fit & don't need to lose much idk if keto is right for you. Though in general I think it's a great way to live. Maybe switching up your workout or doing a Whole30 will help you lose weight?0 -
There is a lot of misinformation about ketosis out there. There are cultures of people who were ketogenic all the time (Inuit for one). I'm not saying that someone must be ketogenic to be healthy no matter what, but there are huge health benefits for some of us, especially those of us who are sick/fat. I truly believe that ketosis is not dangerous for most people, but there can be exceptions to anything. I have been ketogenic for 15 months and it has resolved a long list of illnesses. For me, I could NOT have accomplished what I have without being ketogenic. A disordered metabolism often needs a seemingly disordered food solution.0

Don't let the articles confuse ketosis with ketoacidosis.0
