Crowdfunding a paleo restaurant in Colorado-how to promote?

Paleo friends - we're trying to open a 100% paleo restaurant in Boulder. A week ago I launched a campaign on Indiegogo (the restaurant name is Blooming Beets). Any ideas where to promote this? Any of you have experience with Indiegogo? And of course, your support there would be much appreciated.

If you want to be successful in Boulder you should probably sell medical marijuana on the side0

OMG, I just looked at the website. YUM!
Honestly, I don't have any help to offer, though. Sorry!0 -
I have been seeing loads of people promoting crowd funding on Facebook..maybe going to paleo bloggers in your community and see if they will help to promote the cause..twitter..maybe contact some of the paleo big whigs and see if they would be interested in promoting.I would be approaching everyone in the paleo blog arena and see what they can do for you.0

yumm. i graduated from boulder. we have a paleo food truck in san diego, and they just crowdfunded for their 2nd truck. its called not so fast food truck and not too fast food truck. i know they raised awareness for funds through crossfit gyms, health based businesses, and butcher shops
EDIT!! BIG IDEA!! do you know www.paleomg.com ?? she is from denver and has a cookbook out and another one on the way, as well as delicious recipes. you could contact her- maybe she would do something on her blog (as she often promotes some paleo coffee shop downtown, and farm-to-fork restaurants. maybe a collab in the works?0 -
That's awesome! Would love to have a Paleo-friendly restaurant in this neck of the woods.
It depends on your goals, but another idea might be to dilute the 'Paleo message a little bit and branch out to non-paleo communities as well.
Though the Paleo community is growing, in most areas it's not necessarily large enough to sustain a restaurant I'd think (not sure what it's like in Boulder).
Promoting to gluten-free or celiac communities, low-carb communities or just the health conscious/fresh food eating community could really expand your client base. There are a lot of misconceptions about the Paleo diet and that might scare off some people.
Also, really promoting local fare can have a big impact (I know you promote farm-fresh veggies, but if you can also add that everything's local, then that could be a big draw). Actively participating in community events could be a great way to increase exposure as well.
Best of luck!!0
