Increased Fat intake/ macro's

I'm gluten intolerant and since getting rid of wheat products my macros have changed so carbs are smaller and fat content is larger (I'm trying to up my protein as well) . Some days my fat content is as much as 50% of my macros. Is this okay? I'm really struggling with this. To make up for the huger for carbs I have been eating a lot of dairy products and meats. I'm trying to lose weight so this is worrying to me.

    Have you heard of the Keto diet? It's a diet that purposely increases fat so your body burns that first before anything else. I would suggest looking at reddit.com/r/xxketo and this FAQ: http://www.reddit.com/r/keto/wiki/faq

    I'm not gluten intolerant but I have PCOS and can tell when I eat too much gluten. I've been on Keto for about 3 weeks now and it's changed my digestive system quite a bit - in good ways.
  • Most of my calories are from fat. I eat 90% paleo though which many people take issue with, but it works really well for me.
