I LOVE this one! You can do it with any kind of beef really. Cube steak, Stew meat, Hamburger patties..........
Beef Cubed Steak - Steak, 24 OZ
Heavy Whipping Cream, 1/2 Cup - 1 cup (depending on how much meat you have and how much sauce you want)
Butter, 4 Tbsp.
Salt, table, 0.5 tsp
Pepper, black, 0.5 tsp
Garlic powder, 1 tsp
Onion powder, 1 tsp
Sliced White Mushrooms, 8 oz..
Cook beef on low setting so it will be tender. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Remove from pan and drain liquids if needed.
Using the same pan, add the butter and remainder of spices and saute mushrooms until soft.
Add heavy cream and bring to a boil on high heat.
As soon as it starts boiling, turn heat to medium and let simmer, stirring every 3-4 min until it thickens some.
Add meat back into pan and coat with sauce.
Simmer on low heat until sauce is thickened to your liking.
Adjust spices to your liking.
Note: This sauce will not be thick, as it has no thickening agent. It will get semi-thick and I usually cover for a few min after cooking and it will thicken a little more. This recipe is YUM!!!!

White Castle Cheeseburger Pie - One of my family favorites!

Shredded Sharp Cheddar, 1 container (2 cups ea.)
Onion powder, 1 tbsp
Mayo, 1/2 cup
Ground Beef, 1 lb.
Fresh Sliced Mushrooms, 4 oz
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cook ground beef and mushrooms together adding in half of the spices.
Once cooked, pour the mixture into the bottom of a greased pie plate.
Mix in half of the shredded cheddar and the remainder of the spices.
Mix heavy whipping cream, the rest of the cheddar, mayo and eggs together in a separate bowl.
Pour over beef mixture.
Shake pie plate a little to even everything out.
Bake for 30 min or until set in the middle.
This is AWESOME served with some yellow mustard on top and a diced up dill pickle or slices. Make you feel like you are eating a burger!!0 -

I made a bacon cheeseburger version of this yesterday, the ingredients are a little different. I also set it up with two options for either higher fat or higher protein. I like to plan my meals out a day or so in advance just to help me stay on track, so I know what I need, more fat or more protein and adjust the recipe as needed. Th variation is using either 1 lb ground chuck 80/20 or .5 lb ground chuck 80/20 and .5 lb honeysuckle white ground turkey 93/7. I also used half an onion vs onion powder. Other than that, it was the same.0
