Attitude is so important! I was feeling discouraged because my wrists were hurting from doing too many pushups. Then my husband reminded me of a different push up form (on fists), and now I've got a plan, so no reason to get down. Taking it one day at a time. Today I found other exercises to do. Jump rope, air punches, a shoulder/back workout. There are plenty of things to do!!

    Have a great day!

Hey all! Sorry I was a bit pre-occupied today. We're having more rain here, and I have been doing more housework and some opportunistic clothes & toy sorting (while the kids were gone to grgrma's).

Anyway, kept me pretty busy, but then I got a bad message from my computer and might have to take it for repair this week, before the battery goes completely dead. I went ahead and put the rest of the months threadstarters, but if you don't hear from me, it's because my computer will be in the shop and I can't access forums from the iPad. Either way, have a good one!

chani8 I have another MFP friend who is recovering from a broken wrist. She holds onto dumbells when she does push-ups to protect her wrist (which would also protect your knuckles), so you could try that too.

It's my cardio cross-train day so I did 15 minutes on the rowing machine, 15 minutes on the AMT cross-trainer, 15 minutes on the bike, and 15 minutes total (3 x 5 min) on Jacob's Ladder.

I too am taking a little bit of a break on exercise. Trying to convince husband to just work out this evening, but he is interested in taking a walk. It will below 23 degrees. BRRRRRRRR! But will most likely cave in and go with him. Hopefully we will warm up during our 2 mile walk.

    Have a great evening.
