Hello. There has not been a lot of action on this board. I really wish there was, this is the most miserable disease and affects so many facets of our life. Maybe some other's will chip in.0

I have been working hard at losing weight since June. Normally, with as much effort in diet and exercise that I did, I would have lost about 25 pounds. However, since I now have hypothyroidism, I lost 8 pounds. It is discouraging to say the least! Since we are all in the same boat, maybe we should try to pull together and encourage and support each other in our battle. Sound good?0

Sounds good to me. I recently joined a gym but I am finding myself limited due to my joints protesting my exercises. So far I have been pushing myself with the machines that keep me off my feet otherwise my ankles will give out on me.
Has anyone else experienced muscle spasms during your time of rest and if so, have you found anything that will help ease the pain? My right arm has been on the fritz since I started everything and it makes my hand a little numb.
And one more thing... I can't seem to get in enough calories because I have little appetite. Any tips? I don't want to lose weight and then gain it all back again because I'm not getting the proper nutrients. I am making sure I get my protein in, but I am so bloated and full all the time.0 -
