My co-worker asked me about gifts for her 13-year-old cousin who is a runner.
Without blinking, I answered "A Garmin." She was like "That's that watch thing? Yeah, she showed that to me...."
I suggested
- Sweaty bands
- Socks
- A clip-on light
- Road ID
- Remy's "Runner's Field Guide"
What other things do you think would make a great gift for a runner?

A homemade IOU that would cover the cost of a race that the runner wants to sign up for in the coming year.0

Some running technical tanks or tees.
CR-X tights (yes a must after you have ran in them)
A TomTom (great sub for the Garman if she is worried about price!)
Socks
Brooks Running Vest
Brooks anything actually.
If she isn into racing and competing and is getting medals then a medal holder that says "Running Girl" or something.
Stealing the bibs for a few weeks and getting them turned into a throw blanket, coasters, or poster for the wall.
Head lamp.

PS. My co-worker is getting the medal holder. Her niece is 13, competing at the High School level and setting records. She'll need a medal holder :happy:0
