Heart rate monitors and arm bands are notorious for overestimating the calories you burn. I have a number of friends who have gone this route and had issues with losing because they eat back those calories and they shouldn't.0

If I do a TDEE calculation it works out to the same numbers that my BodyMedia gives me, so I'm coming to the conclusion that its just a fancy calculator. Good thing I didn't pay full price for it!

Can you tell me what you see in my diary with sugar alcohols? I don't eat those. I have violent reactions to them. I think I bought a box of Atkins bars in October and it was a mistake but you say you see "a lot of fake/faux foods" and I don't have a clue what you see.0
