Check-in here for:
November!
Remember, folks, there's a new system for recording your numbers -- you'll need to visit the spreadsheet below and record your information on the first tab. The second tab tallies the results.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkmK3myW0PepdDRHZllyYWVjSHN4d3VxOFI0R0toTXc

To get started, you need to enter your name and your GOAL for November. Let us know in the comments if you have any difficulties doing this. Then, enter your mileage each day. Everything should be automatically tallied on the second page of the spreadsheet -- please DON'T edit the second page!. Let us know if it's not working and we'll fix it!

Important: Enter your name/goal at the bottom of the list; we'll sort it periodically. It doesn't work to add a name to the middle!

*** Spreadsheet:

As usual -- to refresh the spreadsheet -> click the refresh  button on your browser, or try CTRL+R then CTRL + F5 a couple of times if you are using the Windows OS, or replace the CTRL key with Command key if you are on a MAC, or, Command+R and then Command+Shift+R on a MAC. We will try to update this a few times each week, or you can always visit the Google Doc spreadsheet if you have any questions!

    Week 1: 5.4, 3.5, 8 = 17

I had planned 12 for today, but I had to turn around because there was a police road block on my last 6 mile route. :grumble: blue lights flashing and everything (it did not look like traffic stop). All doors of the car were opened, and it looked like they were searching the car. We live in a (normally) calm & quiet neighborhood so it was out of place.

I turned around - ran home, and didn't get back into the groove after that. Hoping to do a long run tomorrow instead. I had looked forward to a long slow run...

    Congrats Leanz!!

Hmmmm. I did 7.4 miles today.

Starting to think my goal is too lofty, may need to dial it down a few miles. We will see!

In for another 150 miles. I started the month off with a 25k trail run 11-2. My first 25k so auto PR at 2:49. Had a blast and managed not to fall. I will definitely be looking for some more trail runs to do:smile:.

Just finished my first half!! I put myself down for 70 this month - I hit 51 with the half. I now only have 19 to go over the course of two weeks. With two Saturday long runs in there of at least 6 miles, it should be a breeze.

    19 Nov 3.5 miles
    20 Nov 3.55 miles

    Total for month 48.55 miles

Sorry for the WRONG entry on 12 November - that is all movement not just running DUH!

Not even close this month, the half in the middle of the month killed me. Back on the saddle, this week. :D even if it is cold determined to make 100 miles - half of my goal.

Can we pre-register(?) for December miles? I am going out on a limb this time and saying 200 miles. I am in Ultra training now and think I might be able to do 200. Fingers crossed!
