NYC marathon 2014 - I'm IN!

I'm so excited right now, I have to share with you all. 2011 was the last year they offered the 3 year denial, 4th year you're in for the NYC marathon. That's when I started applying, before I ever even ran a marathon. Today is opening day and when I signed in, there it was, confirmation that I have guaranteed entry! I am so excited! Yes, it was pricey, $260. But I love New York. This will be my 5th time there. To be able to run through the 5 boroughs with 50,000 people will be simply amazing! I'm on cloud nine today!

I did NYC this year and it was awesome. That's saying something because I have no love for road races. Good luck to all of you entering.0

Congrats on getting in! That's awesomee! I'm in the lottery too, for the second time.... it's really too bad about the 3 strikes rule! Last year I think I had to pay $11 though.0

I ran NYC this year after missing out on the lottery for 3 years, then Hurricane Sandy pushed me to this year. I loved it! I signed up yesterday for the lottery and hope to get in for 2014. Good luck to everyone!0
