Today I did pretty well for the first day back in the gym...In just under 90 minutes I burned 813 calories today no complaints there I thought I burned less in my workout due to a killer sinus headache but I pushed through it. Ran with my Army co-worker again this morning our normal 5k route then afterwards into the gym for a bicep and forearm workout.0

Whoa, what a busy day today! Errand after errand after errand and shopping and darting across town and back. Anyway, today was my son's birthday and that kept me very busy (put all the present-buying off until today, plus some bill-paying here there and everywhere). We had a party at home in the evening. Living in an apartment means we kept it small, to just family and a couple of friends (& Skyped family), but nevertheless it got rowdy with a few rowdy boys and a lil girl who can get just as rowdy as the boys. I've hardly sat down today. No exercise, but also no rest, if you know what i mean.
Hope everyone has a great hump day!0 -
It's snowing. And snowing and snowing and snowing. It's been snowing steadily for 2-1/2 days and isn't supposed to let up until tomorrow. Work closed early. A fire truck got stuck. They pulled the buses. They even pulled the snowplows for a few hours. Trainer workout got cancelled. Couldn't get to the gym to get in my run on the treadmill.I am doing a lot of shoveling. Will pop in some kind of cardio DVD tonight.0

@Laura - I have a feeling you got plenty of exercise with the shoveling!

Today I did my medicine ball workout. I have a feeling that to get a workout in the next couple of days I will have to get up earlier : (
Getting cold here. Not really inspired to go for a walk tonight.0 -
Laura you sound like my daughter Laura! She lives in Colorado and got a ton today!
I shoveled snow a few days ago and my back was hurting so took a few days off exercise, going back to nia class in the morning.0 -
