Surgical site pain 8 months after surgery?

I am waiting to see my doctor about this but was curious if any one else had this problem. I am watching my diet (obviously) and have started some gentle workouts. About 3 weeks ago, I started to experience abdominal pain where I had the surgical incisions - especially in the location that they had to do a 6x6cm dissection to stop me from bleeding too much (I should have had a blood transfusion during the surgery). All of the pain is similar to what I experienced while still healing - painful but not to the same extend as immediately following the procedure. I have stopped all workouts because the pain is now coming and going despite me taking it easy in everything that I do.
I know that you can't offer me medical advice but some feedback would be appreciated, especially if you have had similar experiences. I feel like I just had the surgery a couple of months ago not 8 months ago.

I assume you're talking about a hysterectomy? It could be scar tissue/adhesions causing the pain but I have also been told that it can take up to a year to fully heal from the surgery. I'm 4 months post op and still have random pains especially when trying to exercise. Frustrating. Hope your doc can help and that you feel better soon.0

Sorry I should have specified. Yes, a hysterectomy. Thanks0

Yes, I have not had a hysterectomy, bless you, however, I have had my gall bladder removed surgically, have a nice 7" scar, its been almost two years. Taken forever to do a crunge without cringing. Its one of the reasons, I quit running, playing tennis etc., fear of falling and having a "accident." Hope you feel better.....0
