    Eating out:

I actually googled this one a while back. If you need to eat out (in the US) there are some options that are pretty good.

Panera is a good option - their vegetarian soup is only 90 calories a cup. Many of pick twos are very reasonable calorie wise.

Chipotle is a good dinner option. Opt for the salad or a bowl and try to choose cheese OR sour cream. It is possible to get a salad or a bowl for 600-800 calories - you just can't have everything. Watch out for the corn salsa and the guacamole (unless you choose not to get meat, then I usually have enough calories for it).

Ruby Tuesdays actually has some options with calories on the menu. The offer a number of veggie options that can be paired with fish, chicken or steak to keep you within your calorie goals.

Places that serve breakfast all day are also nice as egg beaters in a veggie omelet with a white cheese will be filling and fairly low calorie. Watch out for salads - sometimes they are as many calories as a burger! Checking for calorie information (in MFP or ton the website of the restaurant) is a good way to be prepared.

I frequent Panera all the time!! And I absolutely love their vegetarian pesto soup!! Chipotle is definitely one of my weakness so I try not to go there as often. I'll definitely have to check out Ruby Tuesdays as a sit down restaurant option. And it worries me that places actually serve salads, which are supposed to be a healthy alternative, when they're so high in calories.
  • The Panera squash soup and wheatberry salad is my favorite, I try not to eat the baguette but I always ask for it and eat 1/2 for the soup and dressing.
  • here in the netherlands you have a lot of "wok" restaurants. Asian restaurants where you can choos rice or noodles, a type of meat, and you can choose vegetables . they stir fry it for you. usually you end up with quite a big meal under 600 calories. (sometimes 500)

I usually go for omelet, fried rice and broccoli, chinese cabbage, onions.. etc...

very tasty and pretty good for fast food :)

subway on whole wheat bread without cheese and sauce is also reasonable.. just know that there are a lot of carbs in the bread.. (I can have quite a lot, cause I still eat at a deficit when I'm eating 2000 calories a day... big guy ;) )

I don't go out to eat that much, when I do, it's a cheat meal ;)

when I cook myself, it's usually chicken breast with couscous or rice and at least half a pound of vegetables. usually around 600 calories. I eat fish once a week and I eat red meat once or twice a week.

Like renewondergem, I usually eat out for a cheat meal =) Most work days I try to pack my lunch, but if I forget or am short on time, I'll opt for Jason's Deli which has a good amount of organic options. I also like Sweet Tomatoes for the salad and soup bar...usually fill my plate as high as I can with veggies to resist the temptation of the pasta and dessert stations!

Last time I went to Olive Garden, I was pleasantly surprised that I could get apricot chicken with asparagus and broccoli for a really reasonable calorie amount. I still missed eating endless breadsticks.

I can eat reasonably (portion and calorie-wise) at Jason's Deli and McAlister's Deli if I choose carefully.

This last week was the hardest for me, im still plugging away though.
I find I am at my best with eating when I bring my own food to work and school and have premade stuff I can go right to when I'm suuupeer hungry. Things like pre hard boiled eggs, veggies cut up with light dip, cucumber red onion green pepper, feta salad:)
And I've been pre roasting chicken with herbs and freezing them individually and taking one out in the morning and its totaly ready by lunch time:):)
I also have a shake every morning for breakfast( finally started using the manic bullet I got 4 years ago lol)
    Today's smoothie was:
Blueberries, 1 banana, plain Greek yogurt, almond milk and a bit of kale hidden In There too:)

    Mmmm
Loving how I feel now that I eat so many fruits and veggies it is awesome

Not gonna lie.. the first week of Dec was a disaster! I actually gained! This week I have been doing really REALLY good.. and guess what?? My scale isn't working!!!!! GRRRRR! I'm planning on going to the battery store on Monday (its the soonest I can get there) so I guess I'll just have to weigh in when it finally gets fixed, or I get a new one.

I eat, I'd say 50% home cooking and 50% eating out. I get salads (which I love) or chicken/steak and veggies. Or if I go to a Mexican restrurant I get 2 Tacos De Carne Asada.

I've also been walking for 30 minutes almost every night this week, which is a HUGE improvement for me! :)

I have a shake most mornings and I have just started to add Flax Seed Meal in it. It actually makes it more filling!! (plus I need more fiber)

It sounds like everyone is doing pretty darn good this week! :) keep on being awesome everyone! :)
