Hello all! Been a while since I last posted in this thread, but I have an interesting question. I recently got engaged and my new fiance is learning to home-brew from a friend who has been doing it for years. I would love for him to brew a wedding ale and am wondering what styles/flavors do you think of when you think of a wedding ale?

Hey congrats!
When I got married 20 yrs ago I made 6 kegs of homebrew for the reception - 2 pale ale, 2 hefeweizen, and 2 porter. So we didn't have a wedding specific theme for the beer, just a variety for different tastes and that worked out pretty well. It sounds like a lot but we had about 200 people.
It's hard to please everyone, so why not start with the two of you - what style of beers do you like?0
