Official weigh in for the week. No change from last week...no real activity and worked on food prep. Considering it was a surgical week with food from other families, I'm super happy with maintaining this week.

    Back from GBL, tired, but hurrying off to trainer this morning. I had been lower before GBL, but I'll take the 1.2 lb loss that I managed..

    My steps went way down while gone, but stepping while carrying a 2 year old still feels hard, ha ha ha!!

    Sarah, good to hear from you. Your weekend with hubby sounded so fun. I feel like my hubby and I need something like that soon. No kids or grandkids . .

    Great job Light and Sheesh - Reductions are AWESOME!!!!

    Successful at getting dinners prepared yesterday, so we will be eating this wonderful chicken/black bean concoction..I even bought salad mix (the superfood kale mix from Costco) for lunch. I am defrosting one of the turkey breasts that was roasted on Thanksgiving and will be making turkey pot pie for the latter part of the week (and will be my source of protein for my salads).

    I did go to group training on Saturday, actually my trainer kidnapped me. TRX upperbody with slight range of motion when the others were doing squats and lunges. Yes, I was VERY VERY careful. It felt great to be working out again. It was during that workout that I realized that it has been almost nine months since my last full workout before my injury. I don't even get a baby out of this nonsense. Geez oh Pete!!! January I should be able to hit the ground runnin' - or trotting as is more my speed. I start back to therapy tomorrow morning twice a week.

    Getting ready for my daughter and son in law to arrive on Saturday. My daughter in law is coming in for a couple of days on Sunday and my mother in law comes in on Monday. Let the holidays begin!! Super excited to have everyone home. Though I am an absolutely HORRIBLE mom. My son is currently deployed and I still have his stocking in a box, unsealed or addressed sitting on the table. Too late to mail for Christmas, but still hoping I can get it in the mail this week.

    The goodies are beginning to arrive at the office...so far I've been good, not great, but good. It really has to be worth the calorie count for me. Stay focused!!!
