What happens with not enough protein?

My profile is open for viewing
I just started the Keto diet 3 days ago and have felt fine and not sleepy or lethargic. Ketostix says that I am actually currently in Ketosis!! I am generally not hungry eating the amounts of fats that I am.

I find that its easy to get close to my fat numbers, but wondering if the low amount of protein I am getting will end up bad for me.
At 271 lbs I could lose about 70 of fat.

Can someone check my numbers and let me know so long as I stay below the 20g of carbs, lower calories than my BMR of 2200. Sedentary on the keto calculator showing 2562 otal daily energy expendirue.... . that I at least am on track for moving forward?

The protein ratio I use is 1.5 grams protein per kg lean body mass. People who do rigorous exercise need more, while people who are completely sedentary would likely need less. Without enough protein, you will lose muscle tissue. Good luck.

I've heard to do point .8 grams to 1.5 gram per LEAN body mass at goal weight. First few months of keto i wasn't hitting my protein macros. The last month I have been hitting my protein and I feel a million times better!!

As long as you're eating at least 20% of your calories from protein, with 75% from fat and 5% or less from, carbs I think you'll be fine. :)
