Hi. I've been a member of MFP for a while but have never thought to look at the message boards for support. I've been trying to lose weight for over 5 years and I lose some weight and then stop tracking and being conscious of eating right and the pounds slowly creep back on. I got on the scale this morning and saw that I'm the heaviest I've ever been in my life so I'm back again to try to make it a true life-style change this time. My goal is to lose 30 lbs. I'm hoping to get inspired and support from others on the site by joining this group. Hopefully I can help to motivate others as well.

  • Hi!! I can totally relate. My goal is to also lose 30 pounds and i have also been trying to lose weight for a long time. I started working from home 5 years ago and that's when the pounds started creeping on even tho I have never stopped working out. Very frustrating!!     Hello Happy New Year! I can relate to that too. I have hang on in 200 for sometime and need to lose 3lbs to get down to my small goal weight. I need a friend you add to your friends list.

    Hi! Just wanted to say that I've been there--starting and stopping, losing and gaining it all back again....just hang in there and if you have a bad day, just get back on track the next day :) Good luck!
  • So glad to see you all here! I have never sought the support of an online group when trying to lose weight and get back in shape, but this seems like a great place to start. I will be checking in here every day to seek some motivation and some inspiring stories.
