Road Runners. I also run with RRS; Road Runner Sports Westminster, RR; Runner's Roost Louisville, and EH; Endurance House Westminster, all of which are informal types of running groups. I've met some of my closest real life running friends this way. ????0 -

Cool!! I plan on doing that one. Last year I was injured and shouldn't have been running at all but I ran the 3.1 mile option at Red Top. My wife ran the 9.9 mile race and enjoyed it.0 -

I just registered for my first ultra - the "One EPIC Run" in South Carolina 24-hour run. It's not until Dec 6th but I am already getting excited! Most of my running buddies are going so it should be fun, if I don't get too drunk at the campground the night before! I'm shooting for 50K. The North Face race is not coming back to Georgia so I can forget that one.
Wow! I go this way and that about ultras. Sometimes they sound intriguing, sometimes they sound miserable. Then reality hits and I realize that there's no way I can find time to train for one with everything else going on, so it's kind of moot. I'm looking forward to seeing how your training goes!0 -
