    these all sound great!

    Couple of questions...

babynew - is the quinoa that you use raw??? soaked??

and regarding a spiralizer - I have yet to invest in one...what else can you prepare with it besides zucchini? and any recommendations in terms of brands/models to buy or not buy??

    Thanks!

http://www.amazon.com/Paderno-World-Cuisine-A4982799-Tri-Blade/dp/B0007Y9WHQ My husband got me this one for my birthday. It comes with three blades. So far I've used it on carrots, squash, beets, and squash. Seems versatile in terms of what you can use it for but size is key. You can't use skinny veggie chunks or ones that are very mis-shapened. Hope that helps!

Sadly this is the ONLY recipe I've bothered to post on my blog thus far... but at least its one of my favorites and VERY EASY (we use it on everything. It makes a great sour cream sub or add some rejuvelac and dill to make a yummy 'yogurt' dill sauce to drizzle over a big greek salad! http://thedailysprout.com/

    Cashew & Garlic Aioli Sauce

    Kitchen Tools:
    • For this super easy recipe you will need a high speed blender (I heart my VitaMix)

    Ingredients:
    • 1 cup raw cashews (soaked for at least 2 hours & drained)
    • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • 1/4 cup olive oil
    • 3 or 4 large garlic cloves
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon nutritional yeast (or more to taste)
    • Dash of pepper
    • 1/8 to 1/2 cup water (depending on desired consistency)

    Directions:
    1. Combine all of the ingredients in your high speed blender, cover and blend until smooth (adding more water if necessary).
    2. And viola! You’re done! Such a simple and delicious garlicky sauce with countless uses.
    3. This recipe will keep in your refrigerator for 1 to 2 weeks.
