Calories/Meals

How many calories do you give yourself a day? I am given 1300 a day to lose 1lb a week, some days I struggle and feel like I am famished by bedtime.

Do you have any go to meals/snacks that are low calorie?

    I pack in as many raw veggies as I can for a few reasons:
    If you're using a weight watcher scale, they count as zero.
    The crunch tricks me into being satisfied (helps for mindless eaters, such as myself)
    My boys see me eating them and want to eat them as often (plus, they love the crunching sound).

    My fave go-to low cal snack is one wedge of Laughing Cow cheese (35 cals)
    And half serving of Wheat Thins to scoop up cheese (70 cals for 8)

    That plus a whole glass of water, I'm good to go!!

    I do the laughing cow cheese too except I use the Special K crackers, a serving is around 20 crackers for around a 100 calories

    I'm on 1200 calories per day -- and I feel the same (some days famished). But, what I have found in that case is that if I go do our elliptical machine for about 20 minutes that either:
    a) I realize I don't want to waste that effort and am not really hungry anymore
    OR
    b) I just earned a few calories that I can go eat. :)

    Lay's has a Smooth Ranch Dip in a jar that has 60 calories for 2 tbsp. I eat that w/ a serving of baby carrots at 35 calories. So, 95 calories total.
