Morning workouts, bulletproof coffee and breakfast

I've just started drinking Bulletproof coffee instead of my usual coffee with coconut milk. I know many people recommend Bulletproof coffee in lieu of breakfast, but wondering if that makes sense after a morning workout?
My usual routine is:
Crossfit at 5:15 a.m.
Breakfast at 7 a.m. (three eggs, tomatoes and avocado + coffee and coconut milk)
Lunch at 12 noon
Interested in thoughts and specifics on other routines that work.
Thanks,
Lisa

IMO, you should be having some protein at a minimum after a workout. As such, I'd advise against substituting your breakfast for butter if you're working out.
Depending on how serious you are with working out (do you have big performance goals or is it mostly to stay in shape?), you would probably want to look at tweaking your post-workout meal further.
At a minimum I'd recommend having some protein though - even if it's just the eggs.0 -
That was always my thinking too. I was surprised at how many people said they were having bulletproof coffee for breakfast. Thanks for the thoughts.0

I agree, real breakfast not bullet proof coffee. I think the BPC is good for people that IF or are keto, but not for the general population.0

I think that if you weren't working out in the mornings, there would be no problem with it. But with working out, you need to get some protein.0 -
I work out in the morning and I do find I need help with my energy levels afterwards. I add an egg and a TBSP of butter to my coffee and drink it on my way into the office. I might have quiche later that morning, but not always (sometimes, I save it for my mid afternoon snack). Anyway, its delicious (and I am no raw egg fan)! I put it in the blender with the butter and it is just like a latte, only better!0
