Training for my first Half Marathon in May 2014 in St Michaels MD. I will admit, I chose this race for 2 reasons…..1 we love the area and 2……it is billed as the flattest Half Marathon in the region!!!!

Anyone else running it??

    I might. I was going to register for the Frederick Half which is May 4th ... but I could do St Michael's instead. Flatter would be great especially since I'm stuck to training on the treadmill for the time being.

    This will be my first half as well :)

    I was going to, but I think that's the same weekend as Flying Pig Marathon in Cincy, which is NOT the flattest race anywhere.. ROFL..

    I did a 10 miler back on Nov 3rd of 2013 and finished in 1:33 and I felt pretty good at the end.....feeling like a nice flat 13.1 should not be that bad!! Hope to see you there!

    I thought about doing this one. It is held on my brother's birthday who passed away 5 years ago this past November but we financially cannot afford to drive out spend the night and pay for race entry. Wishing you the best of luck
