I've successfully held off getting a cold this season, but I woke up this morning thinking I may be losing that battle. My boss went home early yesterday afternoon because hers cold was so bad, and my friend & her family that I spent the weekend with were all in varying stages of their colds, so that might have been too much. But I'll dose up on Vitamin C and hope for the best.

    Pilates tonight after work.

    Good Morning

Exercise for me today will be my strength/cardio class tonight. Not sure what we'll be doing - she changes it up quite a bit. Last week they did a T25 workout, which I missed because I wasn't there. I guess it was pretty hard, I am hoping for that!

Laura - hope that you keep resisting that cold. Its hard sometimes when its all around you like that. So far here we have also avoided them. Fingers crossed!!

newmeb450 - hey welcome back...looking forward to getting to know you!

13strong - today will be a better day....hope you get that workout in. 4am! Wow

Marla - I did a workout in the rain the other day....it wasn't too bad as it was a fairly mild day. But then, I guess it wasn't quite "rain" more like drizzle or light rain.

ugh, started my message and lost it. sigh.

Tim, another great reminder in the thought-for-the-day. :)

maureli, enjoy your workout. Isn't T25 by beachbody? I've never done a beachbody workout but have seen so many great results online from them.

laura, hope you bypass the cold! Do whatever it takes to avoid it. After I had already gotten sick, I realized that I had run out of whey a few days prior and was waiting for the new year to stock up. Once I realized it, I went out and got it asap because it's an immune-booster and I have a feeling I might've avoided the whole mess if I had just kept it up. oh well.

marla, sports bars are danger zones for me. All that snacking (if it's in front of me, I can't keep my hands off of it)! Hope you got some activity to make-up for it.

13strong, stairs are an awesome activity. My dad worked at a plant pretty much my whole life growing up and he had legs that felt like stone from all of the stairs. You've got this!

newmeb450, welcome back!!!! It sounds like you had a good little talk with yourself. Sometimes you just have to get your head straight before moving forward. Good job with that.

Well, today stunk! I try not to be negative, but it was such a GORGEOUS day here and I was stuck with lil girl. I love spending time with her and going to play, but I see all of these people running at the park (in SHORTS too!!! yes, it was THAT beautiful here today)! Anyway, basically my husband kept calling me every 30minutes saying he'd be a little longer, a little longer, a little longer. sigh. I can't complain because he doesn't stay late unless it means direct money in our pockets, so it's good, but it stinks for me because I'm trying really hard to actually write my workouts onto my new 2014 calendar, etc, and then it just gets blown away. Well, I've worked in some options into my weekly plan, so I guess I'll move today's workout and instead do my home ab workout tonight after the kids are in bed. He also says he has a meeting tomorrow afternoon (during my workout time), so I'll have to get creative tomorrow too. I WON'T let this break my momentum!!! grrrr!!

    Ready'all later!

Worked out 20 mins - total body & lower body. I called it low impact vs circuit since it was more body weight strength exercises than cardio. I did not get up at 4 am to do them though. The wind kept me up to much to feel rested and then I found out my garage door broke when I tried to run trash out first...

Today was my first successful day in a while with both food and exercise.

Sorry I've been absent - sick, sick, sick. No real exercise for the last few days. I did walk stairs one day last week I can't even remember. I've been moving around working on steps but ahhhh haven't felt like real exercise.

Tonight I led TKD class - so movement for sure, but not real sweat. : (
I am sooooo stuck in my weight loss I swear I've gained and lost the same 3 llbs FOREVER - ok the last month.

Husband was so sick he lost 5 lbs. Not a good way to lose weight and we know he needs to gain it back in liquids. I have a cast iron stomach and didn't have same sickness.

Hopefully you will see some exercise on here soon.

    Good work everyone!
