Angela, I followed your instructions to upload a picture. It showed in the tinypic.com website but the image code fields were blank - there was nothing to copy and paste. So, I'll just describe it...
I had homemade pizza - whole wheat thin crust, with just a little light alfredo sauce, a 9 oz. chicken breast, a pound of mushrooms, some bell peppers, and onions. I put very little cheese on the pizza - just 3oz on the whole thing. One ounce of the cheese was Green Onion Ranch flavor which made it really tasty. My husband and I ate half the pizza (1/4 of the pizza each) and we will eat the other half for lunch tomorrow - 345 calories for 1/4 of the pizza. My husband and I were thinking we might try cottage cheese next time instead of regular cheese. Honestly, no cheese at all would've been good.
I want to mention that I lowered my calories to 1200 today. Previously, I had it set to 1300. I'm hoping this will help me lose up to 2 pounds per week. Either that, or I'll feel like I'm starving and I'll end up going nuts one day and I'll eat everything in the house. I've never gone this low before, so it will be a new learning experience. I am just so ready to get to my goal. Wish me luck!
Sorry I haven't posted every day. Very busy! I'm doing my best to keep up. I do enjoy reading everyone's reflections and want to make sure I make my contribution. Sorry for the lack of picture - it was a yummy one. :drinker:
Everyone be well,

I just read this post. I seem to look under my topics and not under Groups. I ate all my meals today so no picture. All of them were very healthy. You are welcome to look at my diary. The most satisfying was lunch, well dinner too. I had a salad with lots of organic veggies, garlic olive oil and balsamic vinegar with a natural grass fed pork chop. Dinner was avocado, natural chicken breast and a grilled sweet potato. Hopefully I will catch the new posts tomorrow although from work I cannot do much.
Roni, your pizza sounds delicious!!!0 -
Good luck with the lower cals, Roni. I just raised mine from 1200, I've always had it set at that but I always gain and lose the same 20 lbs. I figured this time I would allow myself to eat more and lose slower in hopes it will be more sustainable and will stick!
I make a huge dish each Sunday, and the husband and I both eat from it for lunch/dinner until it runs out. This week it was a giant pot of turkey chili. I'd love to cook dinner each night, but I know I won't stick to it and will end up ordering out or eating unhealthy stuff.

Chelsea, that turkey chili looks very good!!! I may try that next week!
Roni, I am curious about you lowering your calories so much, especially with all of the activity that you do. You want to be sure to have enough energy to expend. I think I will post info. on calorie intake tomorrow. Continue to contribute when you can. I always look forward to your advise.
Annette, that is the way I want to eat all the time! Clean foods, good for you. Are you seeing an increase in energy with veggie salad for lunch?0 -
I just ate too!! Had mock Fettuccine Alfredo using shirataki noodles & laughing cow cheese with turkey meatballs....delish!!!
Here's a very tiny artist's rendition ????0 -

Is it possible that you have sore muscles that are holding onto water. Water weight will add up quite quickly. Sounds like you did great this week. Keep it up.0 -
I don't have a picture to post either. Lately I'm loving my smoothies! I do 100 calorie Greek yogurt, 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 2 cups spinach, 1/2 cup blueberries, 4 strawberries & 1 cup of water. So good, filling and keeps me going!
Tonight for dinner, I'm having baked tilapia with cayenne pepper, steamed green beans and garlic quinoa/brown rice.
Still going on my no sugar challenge! It's been 11 days since I've had any chocolate My cravings are going away! I hardly ever think of sweets anymore and I feel great!!!0 -
