I'm on day 3 of this and feeling intense. Grump and slightly nauseous. How long does this last? Also looking for recipes and food ideas if anyone can suggest a good blog or wants to share their diary. Thanks!

Most likely sugar withdrawals, maybe a touch of the "keto-flu". Get yourself some sugar-free chicken broth, or boil up a chicken yourself to make some, with a lot of salt. Drink as much water as you possibly can and you should start feeling better. Day 2 and 3 are always the worst, after that its smooth sailing.

No problem! Stick to it. The first rule of keto is that if you aren't peeing every minute of the day, you're probably not drinking enough. :) Seriously though, keep water by your side at all times and salt everything!

And if you feel tired or you start getting muscle spasms, get some potassium/magnesium with your salt! I use Morton's Lite Salt, which is about half sodium/half potassium, and then I take magnesium+calcium+zinc supplements every few days. If I lived in the UK, I'd try to find some SOLO-Lite, which is apparently sodium/potassium/magnesium sea salt mixture. :D

I absolutely love this way of eating. I haven't yet tried any fake breads etc. because I don't trust myself as of yet. When I get closer to my goal and am going to start on maintenance, I will introduce some different items into my meal planning.

Adding another voice to: drink a couple of cups of salty chicken or beef broth per day: once in the AM, once in the PM. Veggie stock will work, too, but it may be low sodium (in which case, just stir in some salt).

If you get leg cramps, take some potassium (and drink some broth).
