A new week. January 11-17

I hope no one minds. But I needed a spot to start week two for me. Or just the start of your next week!
Let's get it done everyone. For those that have been doing this for a while. Is anyone finding it easier than day one?

    I am going to do week two backwards. I have more time on the weekend. So today I did day five, week two. Did lower focus and then core. One after the other. I hope to have two days off this way with only the stretch to do.

    I am finding that it is getting a bit better with each day! I am just finishing week two today (I start my day 1 on Tuesday). I do find the double workouts in one day to be challenging. I have some knee issues so I am getting much better with the modifier. Excited to see what happens at the end of alpha!

    Come to think of it, I just think my attitude is getting better ;) 25 minutes can go by quickly when you are not dreading the workout!!!

    I got Cardio done today. I have to modify about half of it because of knee issues, but I got it done.

    I notice that there are a number of people that have to modify because of knee issues. I am fortunate that that is not the case with me. It makes me work harder knowing that others have a harder time than me but are hanging in here. Thanks.

    Amconley glad you are finding positives other than the physical. And it is great to know it will get easier. :)

    Ditto for me! I like to drink water during my workouts... and there's never a chance. I keep the bottle right there and try to drink it on the 'slow' moves (low kicks) and that sort of thing!

    Ditto on this too!

    Although, this morning, I really wanted to stay under the covers... but 25 mins does go quickly when you finally do it!

    Starting week 3 today. Great job everyone! My back is really sore. I think I need to finally break down a visit a chiropractor, but I'll modify as I need to until then. And I agree! I do less and less of the modifiers each time.

    I did Total Body Circuit yesterday and modified a good bit of it. The floor exercises are tough. I'm taking today off.

    This morning during Total Body I was lunging towards my water and thought of the other water drinkers out there. :) its tough to find breaks in total body circuit!

    If I absolutely must, I hit pause! That way I do not miss anything. I also will chew gum. That helps! I was bad today. It snowed about four inches last night. I got off work 30 minutes early, rushed home and skipped T25 to take my four boys walking before it got to dark. They were so happy. Jumped into my vehicle and off to the park. Luckily for us they had plowed our path way! :bigsmile: Here is a photo of them at their park last spring. :drinker:

    Tomorrow is week 3, day 3 for me. I'm definitely getting stronger and moving better within the workouts, and find myself modifying much less than I was in the beginning. Tomorrow I will be halfway done with Alpha! Keep moving everyone!

    I got Speed 1.0 done today along with my other challenges and 45 minutes on the recumbent. It was a good Tuesday!

    That is how we know it is working! Awesome job. :drinker:

    Chris that is one of my favorites also. And they were all so darn good. And they went really fast for such little guys. I had to really watch my footing. I so did not want to fall and break something on the ice. Stretches were dry, and others were treacherous. :grumble:

    Today I did total body. It is one of the easier ones for me. Still get an awesome burn though. I just do so many squats and pushups I just like it better than say cardio! :grumble:

    I did Cardio today. I'm getting better but still have to modify some of the jumping moves especially toward the end of the workout. My knees can't take it. It was a good day! I like Speed 1.0!!! :laugh:

    Chris so true. I was supposed to do cardio today. But will have to do it tomorrow since I had to clean some areas on the carpet and go shopping. I did get in some walking though.

    I will get the cardio in and some stretching tomorrow.

    Had to skip cardio yesterday...horrible migraine =/ Today is my double day with total body circuit and abs, then I'm going to do yesterday's cardio tomorrow. I'm actually excited for STATurday tomorrow. Feeling good :)

    after seeing the adds 14 or so times, I'm curious if anyone is trying the shakeology stuff. I am not, but if they had a single sample size id consider it.

    Never have. I have been curious myself. But I do prefer to eat my calories verses drinking them.

    I'm with Shelley on this. I've tried the liquid breakfast and/or lunch and found that I have to chew my food or I feel like I've really, really missed something. I wish I could push a button that skips all that business and goes straight to the menu.

    I got Ab Intervals DONE then we had company, and I didn't get to Lower Focus or the recumbent. I'll get to that tomorrow. I'm not crazy about the ab workout...so much quick up and down. I did get three other challenges done and walked with my grandpuppy for 3.0 miles. It was a good Friday!

    I am the exact opposite! I find it annoying and tacky that the push that product so much. We paid plenty for these workouts (or santa did for me!) and we should not have to be subjected to ridiculous commercials!!! I usually use the time to tighten my shoelaces.

    Everyone here says its a scam.... and the fact they have to shove it on our faces on these workouts make me trust the product less and less.
  • Even if Shakeology is the greatest thing, I think the price is insane for a shake. I never thought I would do a liquid breakfast, but for about two months I have been making my own smoothie. I have a one serving blender, I mix 1 cup almond milk, 3/4 cup frozen berries, and 1scoop of Jarrow unflavored protein powder. I find almond milk mixes in a smoothie better than regular milk.

    I got Lower Focus DONE today because I didn't get it done yesterday. Shaun kept saying something about ...love T25...or...your love for T25...during this workout. I hadn't noticed it before but..arggh! :mad: There was no love there :noway: none! But it's done for now and I'm happier for it...:huh:

    So the votes are in and counted.....drum roll please.......do not buy them! LOL Make your own if you must. And try to skip over the commercials. LOL

    I did a road trip today. Will have to get caught up tomorrow. Was on the road for over eight hours, not counting the time I was shopping for aquarium supplies, visiting a friend, walking and playing with the boys, and having lunch with before mentioned friend and DH. :)

    It was a great day!
