Good morning to you too! How's the foot?
It's afternoon here and it was very warm and took all I could muster to not spend the afternoon outside instead of the gym. But I told myself that although it's pretty outside today, it'll also be pretty outside this Summer and I'm going to want to be wearing shorts and bathing suits on the beach, so I best go to the gym today. So, I ran to the gym and did my legs, glutes, and back workout. The glutes portion was kinda weak because I still have to work the kinks out, but I think I'll be feeling it tomorrow. Afterwards, I ran back and ended my run at the park for a short walk and boy was the park crowded on such a gorgeous day today.
Now I am just going to stuff my face until I have to take my son to his taekwon-do class in a bit.0 -
Between the snow and the unusual cold for this area, I'm having a great deal of trouble getting myself to exercise. My "fitness studio" had no classes Tuesday, Wednesday, or today; I don't have the clothing of footwear to run in this unusual weather outside and I keep hurting my knee when I try to use the treadmill instead; the idea of coming out of the swimming pool and into this really really cold weather is daunting .... so I decided that today will be 15 minutes of strength training (which I can do at work) and 45 minutes of dancing to my Wii when I get home.
I know I just need to do it to get back in the habit.
Tomorrow I'm planning to go to the fitness studio as well as get some walking and/or running in and I'll go to water aerobics on Saturday and run on Sunday.0 -
We've got unusually cold weather here too, even for Minnesota in January. Air temp this morning was -20 with -40 wind chill. Does not make a person want to be outside. It's supposed to briefly warm up tomorrow then get cold again for another week.
I'm walking with a friend at lunch today. She power walks so it's usually a good workout. Trainer session after work - will be upper body & abs tonight.
Way to keep moving everybody!0 -
Today I did a sports drill workout and then a TKD class moderately worked out had to teach some.
Too cold outside to think about anything!0
