ive seen them.. havent made them
the function of them is eluding me
  • I have made them several times. I use them when my fat macro is low or when I need something sweet. Depending on how you make them they taste like cheescake. I used Linda's Low Carb clouds recipe, she also has tons of other recipes for low carbers on her site. I add flavorings sometimes, sometimes not.

Looks like a fat bomb type of thing, though it appears to be a little lower in fat than other recipes I've seen. Could be a useful dessert/treat that doesn't blow your macros aways.

As a umpteenth generation pumpkin roll maker (seriously, that's basically the sugar free recipe for the filling in pumpkin rolls, though with twice the butter), how have I never thought of doing this intentionally?!

On a side note, adding some peanut butter to the mix makes for a heavenly treat, too, though would make it more dense and add some carbs.
