WOW! We are moving right along! Did you know that together, we have lost about 46 pounds in just a little over two weeks? AWESOME! Don’t lose momentum, and don’t stop planning ahead. We have been putting in the work and burning calories, and should be noticing small differences in our body. Are you having any road blocks :grumble: (share below)? If so, water could be the problem; or lack of, that is. Did you know that most fitness experts will tell you to drink half your weight in ounces of water? I hear a lot of people say they don’t like the taste of water. So, along with your accountability post, share some ways you get your water down. What are some natural ways that you flavor your water? Below is a graphic with some ways to kick up the flavor!:drinker:

I love water and drink at least 12 glasses per day! I've always been a big water drinker. I'm lucky that ever since I was a kid I never liked the taste of soda. I enjoy an Arnold palmer or alcoholic beverage, like wine or beer, every once in a while, but I'm water all the way! I carry around a 33 oz camelbak water bottle with me everywhere I go so that I'm never without having water.0

Wow this group rocks!!!
I have to admit it's a challenge for me to drink just plain water so I mix it with PowerAde Zero :blushing: for flavor and electrolytes.
W: 30 min run intervals
S: breakfast
N: 4 (a little over my sodium today-good thing I got in extra water):drinker:0 -
I'm with you Ik27 :drinker: :drinker: I think I am addicted to water. LOL I drink about a gallon a day. I carry water 90% of the time. When in restaurants I drink tons of it. Even when I go out and I am the DD I only drink water, no sodas or juice for me. Also in the morning I start my day with a warm cup of lemon water.
W: Challenges I did tons of squats and push ups today.
S: Breakfast
N: 5 Ate all my meals as planned and they were all pretty clean.
I might not get to Bikram tomorrow. :ohwell: We got hit with a cold front, it is coming down now, sleet is not common in this part of TX so it can get pretty dangerous on the roads. I might just do P90X yoga (90 mins) and of course my daily challenges.
Awesome job!!!! :drinker: :flowerforyou:0 -
Lindsey, you drink lots of water! AWESOME! I can't remember EVER drinking 12 cups, unless I could count 2 of my cups of green tea.
I hope the water that I drank today will flush away my poor choices this evening! Couldn't resist the temptation. I did't get much sleep last night; less than 5 hours.:glasses: I really believe that caused my spiral.
W: none:frown:
S: none:frown:
N: 2; Although my goal is to adhere to the 80/20 concept, this was not a planned 20 meal, it just kinda happened. But, I won't beat myself up, :smooched: and I'll be sure to burn a little extra tomorrow.0 -
I have a 24 ox water bottle that I usually fill 3 times a day, though some days I get so busy at work that I get home and it's still full from that morning. I have definitely been trying to up my intake to four bottles a day. As long as it's ice cold, I have no problem getting it down.
W: arms and cardio at the gym, lots of free weights and 4x 5 min sprints at 6 mph on the treadmill
S: am breakfast
N: still a 3. Feeling really off this week, not a lot of sleep and truth be told I didn't eat a thing yesterday (fake tracked so I didn't have to pay $5 through Gympact - sneaky!). Planning to recharge this weekend and hopefully get back on track next week. Nutrition has still been good, and I've been to the gym regularly, but skipped 2 of my home treadmill workouts as I just haven't had any energy.
Doctors appt on Wednesday, and he has me taking 2x magnesium, 1x zinc, 1x calcium, and 4x iron each day on top of my multivitamin, so hopefully that will help with sleep and energy levels!0 -
I hate drinking water. I found seltzer water, especially with a little flavoring (without sweeteners - no calorie) is a lot easier to swallow. I am also a fan of adding some flavoring or tea into my water to give it even a little taste.
I currently don't keep a water bottle at work. I hope to change that soon, I think if I did, I would drink more.0 -
