Insanity Calories to Eat - help please!

Hello!
I am a week into the second month of insanity and loving it so far. For the first month I just worked from 1200 calories and ate back what I burnt but I now don't think that's enough as my bmr is around 1350 and I was super hungry during the first week of the 2nd half.
I worked out my calories using the calculation and I guessed my activity as somewhere between med & high but have been thinking that the 2nd half is pretty tough - should I put it up to high?
I worked out that I need 1787 calories for med-high activity. I burn around 400 calories for each high intensity workout during the 2nd month but only 230 calories for max recovery. Do I eat the same calories (1787) on the max recovery days and the rest days, or do I eat less?
I'm a bit confused and would love someone to help me - thanks!

today is my last day of week 4 and I am enjoying the workouts.. I have increased appetite as well0 -

i thought insanity suggested at least 1800 cals per day?0
