I tried a snack in the afternoon to tide me over but was too indulgent, leaving me with precious few calories for my night out. I headed down to the tread mill and earned a few more calories but luck was with me because our hosts served very light healthy fare. It was OUR contribution to the meal that was calorie laden and I could skip that without worry about offending our hosts. Phew!0 -

Another close call. I eat an early dinner but we had been invited out to a friend's house for a late dinner. I tried a snack in the afternoon to tide me over but was too indulgent, leaving me with precious few calories for my night out. I headed down to the tread mill and earned a few more calories but luck was with me because our hosts served very light healthy fare. It was OUR contribution to the meal that was calorie laden and I could skip that without worry about offending our hosts. Phew!
