Keto sticks

Want to share some of the good stuff!
I bought some Keto Sticks today and tested out in the middle dark pink square.
I'm so exited.
I started low carb eating last Friday and didnt know if I was
in ketosis, or if this would even work for me, so this is fantastic,
especially because most days I'm not eating under 20 carbs, more like 30 plus;
(eating PB and some greek Yogurt plus enough vegetables).
Wow, so it wirks!
I dont know if i have lost weight, no scale here.
Lost a half inch off my waist, so that has to be something good!
The interesting thing is that I am eating more cals than I have in years.
I was a severe restricter, less than 1000 a day for over three years.
I was in a state where even 1200 a day would have me gaining.
I feel this is the answer, I can eat all the calories I want
and give my body the chance it needs to
recover from anorexia.
It is really wonderful eating three meals a day plus snacks and feeling
nourished. I'm not tempted to over eat and whenever hungry I can eat something without worrying
as long as I stick to the low carb foods.
I'm so happy about this and want to share the feelings with all yous in the group!

Wow, congratulations for your success and recovery from anorexia. I know it can be a long, hard battle, but know you are among friends. Your post made me think of this story I read/watched about a guy doing a 5000 calorie a day challenge. He tried a low carb, high fat diet, then months later, a high carb, low fat diet (or maybe it was the opposite order, I can't remember). Anyway, the results are amazing. He proved that all calories are NOT created equal. Here's a link if you are curious:

Congratulations again, and good luck!!0 -
Congratulations! You're getting smaller, getting stronger and feeling better. I'd say that's a win!0

Congratulations on feeling great! I'm also recovering from ED and I just want to say that I'm really happy you are not over-restricting your carbs (restriction is a slippery slope!) and are eating when you are hungry. It sounds like you are in a really good place right now. Keep up the great attitude towards food and fueling your body in a healthy way!0 -
That is so awesome. Sounds a little bit like my story. I was restricting calories bigtime, and not losing weight anymore. But doing this has helped me be able to eat when I'm hungry and still lose weight!!! I'm excited about this ketosis journey and the results it will bring!! Add me if you'd like!0
