^A reminder that I need when I'm doing well. It seems the better I'm doing, the faster I want it done and start "experimenting", instead of following "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

I wanted to do lower body today, but it's shaping up to be a rest day b/c I have some shopping errands to do that can't be done on Sunday when everything is closed in Greece. Luckily, the gym IS open on Sundays, so I guess I'll just switch the days, do lower body tomorrow and unfortunately have to fight the crowd to do upper body on Monday (started trying to take Mondays as rest days when I realized the degree of crowdedness compared to other days, but oh well.)

Also, the temperature dropped significantly here in just one day and it's actually chilly here. brrrrr. (Okay, so "chilly" is 40s, but after being 60, it's a sudden shock and I don't think the landlord set the heat up before they went away for the weekend. :frown: )

    Have a great weekend!

40's without heat is definitely chilly!

I'm coming up on a year with my trainer, and maybe the biggest things I've learned over the past year are patience & the importance of consistency. I just said to someone this morning that it's a marathon, not a sprint. Since you're in Greece, Sherry, that seems particularly appropriate for you too. LOL. I do believe in experimenting but have (mostly) learned only to do that when I'm stalled. When things are working -- trying to fix it just breaks it.

I'm feeling lazy this morning. Woke up early & couldn't get back to sleep. Will need to pull myself together soon to go to yoga class. Then I'll do my long run later today. It's snowing now but I think it's supposed to stop soon. Will need to wear my Yaktrax since there's fresh powder on the ground.

    Have a great Saturday everyone.

Woke up late this morning and needed to pack and get to NJ today, so while I did get to water aerobics class (barely on time), I didn't get the additional swimming in that I do before or after. No Desi today either, so while it was a fun class and I got exercise in, it wasn't the high octane class that Desi does. Looking forward to doing water aerobics on Monday with Desi.

    Enjoy your run, Laura!

Snowed last night about 5 inches. Shoveled for about 45 minutes with my husband - our driveway and my in-laws. I never felt so happy about needing to shovel!

Worked out doing push-ups, squats, sit-ups, and free-weight workout. Couldn't get my online video to download - but that was ok. Watched regular tv while working out.

BTW I'm so excited I changed a second number on the scale! I've been so STUCK since November. But it seems to be coming off ok now. Hope to keep it up!

Had a great workout last night at TKD worked up a great sweat!!!! Sad that I earned all these calories yesterday and went to bed with +800 - just wasn't hungry - and I had Chinese for supper! Maybe I can count roll-over for tomorrow? : )

Snack days are my weakness and I'm going to a Super-Bowl party and I don't care too much about football - so eating is what I have left. I will try to behave and take healthier low cal snacks.
