Macro Percentages?

I've read so much on losing weight with PCOS, and I've tried various macros. I tend to be stalling, and only exercise will help. I know I need to up that, but when working 70+ hrs per week and going to school, I find myself short on time. Weekends are always active to me, and I do consider myself to be 'lightly active' instead of sedentary.

Right now, I'm using:

30% carb
35% fat
35% protein

Paleo macros worked best for me when I could exercise every other day, but I'm afraid that without exercise in combination with the way our bodies hold onto weight, that the higher fat diet would do more than good. I was using 50% fat, 30% protein, 20% carb.

Just curious, what works best for you?

P.S. - A short back story. I was diagnosed with PCOS 9 years ago. I am completely infertile because of it, so I am not TTC. I cycle once per year, and it is induced. I am on Spironolactone and Nuva Ring. Yes, I've tried Metformin and it didn't work for me.

40% Protein, 30% fat, 30% carbs. I try not to eat more than 100 units of carbs a day.

BTW, i'm the same as you - completely infertile because of this so I can relate. :)

Thanks! I'll give that a go :) How many calories do you shoot for? I just upped mine, but I likely won't eat them all.

I'm perfectly fine being infertile. Luckily that didn't affect any of my life goals :)

Same here! Always wanted to adopt/foster so this was a massive sign.
I shoot for between 1500 and 1800 depending on my workout. I have a messed up knee right now so I'm eating lighter (around the 1500 mark).

    25/35/40 - 1300 cals day

    25 Carbs
    35 Protein
    40 Fat

I've tried 40/30/30 never worked for me, different body type I guess.

Also I only maintained on 100g carbs day. So now trying 80g day and will lower each week if needed.

    30% carb, 30% protein, 40% fat.
My daily calorie net goal is 2200. I add exercise calories back.
For the most part, this has worked wonders for me. I'm up a hair from that time of month, but I've had more than a couple of people mention to me how great I look. In 4 weeks, I'm down about 3 pounds.
For a goal of losing 0.5 lbs a week, I'll take that!
